about me.
I like color and texture and big art and loud laughter. That is what I bring to the canvas through my work. Having spent almost 24 years in a profession that required me to wear a uniform and follow rules, I found that making art helped keep me balanced.
Upon my retirement from the U.S. Air Force in 2015, I started the formal art education process at the College of Charleston before moving back to Bedford where I began on-line studies in Graphic Design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I eventually found my way to the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) where I completed my BFA in Graphic Design in June 2023. As part of my SCAD studies, I was able to spend the summer of 2022 abroad in Lacoste, France, studying amidst the valleys of Provence.
I truly enjoy bringing my varied life experience, creative leadership and art & design abilities to make beautiful, fun, meaningful things.
