I found some vintage paper dolls that date to the mid 1930's while browsing around a local antique shop here in Bedford, PA. After a little bit of digging, I discovered that they are all from "Tillie the Toiler" which was a popular comic of that era. By combining these figures with my mixed media style, I've come up with something unique and fun that pays homage to the little girl with scissors who so precisely cut these things out over 80 years ago!
